the big picture

We don't see the big picture. Simply that, we don't. But we want to and we try to, but always we fail to understand it all. I was reading through a journal I had about a year ago. I was writing about something that I wanted. I look back and all that I saw that I wanted was in my imagination. I look back at it all and I see that it was not real, what I wanted, it was not something that would fulfill...it was just something that I consumed in my mind and wanted to somehow sprout into being. We don't see the big picture. We never understand what reality is, we just need to trust God with every choice and hope that things fall into place, a place best for us.
